The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada is a non-profit organization that works with the community to grant wishes to children between the ages of three and seventeen who are diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. This year, the Foundation expects to grant 1,000 new wishes and is proud to have never refused a wish to an eligible child. The Bragger's Cup is a golf tournament which started in 1999 between friends to see who had the bragging rights for the year. From there it was decided to have a yearly tournament to raise funds for the Children's Wish Foundation of Prince Edward Island Chapter.
This tournament is a 4-person best ball, scramble format with plenty of prizes, individual competition, loads of fun and an opportunity to win the COVETED Green Jacket.
The 2011 tournament raised $24,185.09 and to date, we have raised over $150,000 for Children's Wish Foundation of Prince Edward Island Chapter. It is with your ongoing support that we are able to continue to grant grant the most heartfelt wishes of Island children between the ages of 3 and 17 who have been diagnosed with a life threatening illness. The wishes granted have been as unique and wonderful as the children requesting them!
